Who you are

You have a passion for home furnishing and have good leadership capabilities to lead peers and influence stakeholders, and you are curious about how people live at home. You thrive on working in a fast paced, hands-on, and creative environment where you work to tight deadlines. This is a physical, fast-paced role so you will need a practical, hands-on approach and the ability to work with a variety of tools including ladders and power tools. You have a formal tertial qualification in interior design or architecture along with industry experience. Experience with AutoCad, SketchUp, Adobe CC Suite and/or Revit is highly regarded but not essential.

**Responsibilities**:
As an Interior Design Co-worker, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Using your passion for home furnishing to contribute to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market.
- Communicating and implementing your home furnishing knowledge to create and inspire home furnishing solutions for customers (involving customer visits) through creating in-room settings, homes, vignettes, and sales support areas that reflect the IKEA identity.
- Stimulating and increasing the interest in home furnishing through constantly showing new and inspiring solutions that motivate people to visit the IKEA store frequently.
- Assisting in building furniture and setting up new room-sets when required.
- Using the IKEA product range to show the distinct and different styles that appeal to many individual tastes and needs within the local market.
- Reflecting the IKEA Brand identity by creating visual impact in all commercial, sales support, and co-worker areas.

With a great deal of knowledge on how to solve people’s needs, the interior design team utilizes smart, functional, sustainable, and affordable IKEA products to create environments that excite and engages our visitors. Inspiring our IKEA visitors that they can do it too

This role is Permanent Full Time, 76hrs/fortnight.
