Additional Information:

- This role Permanent Part-time, 40hrs/fortnight.
- The shift times required to work will be spread between 8:00am to 7:30pm and 9:30pm (Thursday - Saturday).
- As wee operates 7 days per week, you're required to be available to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

**About this work area**As Showroom Consultant your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Be an IKEA Ambassador by understanding that you impact our customer’s experience by being able to offer solutions and answer questions that relate to their kitchen and home furnishing needs.
- Actively approach customers to identify their needs by asking insightful questions and advising them on the best kitchen solutions for them.
- Supporting customers with their kitchen design process using the kitchen planning 3D rendering software and accessory workshop. You will build strong relationships with the customer throughout their planning journey.
- Following up on customers after initial planning appointments, via phone call to discuss their kitchen designs, answer questions, and address any concerns.
- Responsible for ensuring that the sales area is stocked, presentable, attractively merchandised and correctly priced.
- Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Stay knowledgeable about in-store specials, delivery options, product features and benefits.

As Showroom Consultant you are or have:

- Proven experience in a sales or customer service role, ideally within the furniture, colour consulting or high-value items retail industry.
- A passion for home furnishings and a keen eye for quality, maintaining a strong level of product knowledge and a love for sharing the IKEA range with customers.
- A strong customer-focused mindset, always striving to deliver a memorable and positive shopping experience.
- An authentic approach to generating sales, paired with a professional, self-motivated attitude towards achieving sales targets and KPIs.
- Clear and concise communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and strong problem-solving abilities to navigate customer needs.
- A ‘Togetherness’ mindset, with the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with your team.
- Proficient computer skills and a willingness to learn the technical aspects of the IKEA range and digital planning tools.
- A safe and adaptable approach to physical tasks, including manual handling, repetitive movements, and lifting.
