Finishing Site Supervisor

Meriton has designed, developed and built close to 80,000 award winning apartments and some of the tallest residential towers across the east coast of Australia. Meriton offers sales, leasing and property management services, as well as the luxury hotel accommodation brand Meriton Suites with 23 locations nationwide.

We are seeking experienced **Finishing Site Supervisors** to join our dynamic construction teams in our sites in NSW. This role is responsible for overseeing the final stages of construction on our apartments, ensuring that all internal finishes are completed to the highest standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate all finishing trades including plastering, painting, flooring, tiling, joinery, glazing, and fitouts.
- Ensure all work is completed according to plans, specifications, and quality benchmarks.
- Conduct quality inspections and coordinate defect rectification.
- Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and the internal project team.
- Maintain site safety standards and lead toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Monitor progress against program and report updates to the Site Manager.
- Maintain daily site records, including delivery dockets, QA checklists, and defect reports.
- Ensure timely handover of completed areas in line with the construction schedule.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Finishing Site Supervisor in large-scale residential construction projects.
- Trade background or qualifications in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
- Strong eye for detail and commitment to delivering a high-quality product.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Sound understanding of finishing sequences and industry standards.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings.
