What you’ll contribute to

An exciting opportunity for a Toyota Production System Specialist to join our TPS Operations Division in a max term role until 30th June 2027.

The TPS Operations Division comprises the Toyota Production System Support Centre (TSSC), Toyota Conversions, and Centralised Services. Building on our strong TPS heritage, our goal is to establish a Centre of Excellence that enhances our collective knowledge and expertise, delivering value to Toyota and all its stakeholders.

This role is based in Altona North and requires interstate travel approximately twice per month.

How you’ll make an impact- Implement approved TPS initiatives, processes, and procedures in alignment with established policies to support the objectives of the TPS Support Centre. Contribute to the development of TPS processes and procedures to enable the effective delivery of training and both onsite and offsite coaching programs, with the goal of positively enhancing Toyota’s brand reputation.-
- Support the implementation of project schedules and monitor performance against key milestones to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.- Foster and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external business partners, customers, and not-for-profit organisations to build effective partnerships and enhance Toyota’s brand reputation.- Maintain reporting systems to ensure the business has access to accurate and timely information that supports effective planning, budgeting, and decision-making.

Your attributes - If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you- A degree qualification in engineering is desirable, or equivalent relevant experience- Proven experience in process and production roles within a similar environment focusing on process improvement initiatives- Knowledge and practical experience with the Toyota Way, Toyota Business Practices (TBP), and Toyota Production System (TPS) is highly desirable- Demonstrated experience in delivering training and coaching to both internal and external stakeholders, in onsite and offsite settings will be advantageous
