What you’ll contribute to

The Quality and Service Division is responsible for planning, coordination, and execution of customer first activities including customer support, service operation foundations and training, in-field product performance and support, warranty, quality planning and engineering in order to retain customers for life through optimised experiences, services and products to grow the market, contribute to profitability objectives and strengthen the Toyota brand.

The Product Compliance Consultant is primarily responsible for supporting product field actions from inception to completion in order to ensure that TMCA meets it legislative and regulatory compliance obligations and Distributor performance targets with TMC.

This role is based in Altona North and is on a Max term basis.

How you’ll make an impact- Implement agreed product field action processes and procedures consistent with set policies to achieve warranty and compliance objectives.- Ensure any changes to processes and procedures are accurately documented and communicated.- Assist in the development of processes and procedures for product field actions in order to ensure optimal field action implementation and compliance.- Develop, coordinate and implement all actions necessary for the implementation, administration and timely completion of all product field actions in order to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and statutory requirements.- Develop and manage customer databases to ensure the correct customer information is made available for product field actions.- Monitor and analyse field action completion rates and updates all relevant stakeholders to ensure awareness at all levels.- Maintain reporting systems in order to provide the business with accurate and timely information to support planning, budgeting and forecasting activities.- Monitor own tasks with respect to compliance with all relevant regulations and statutory requirements in order to minimise Toyota’s risk exposure and liabilities.

Your attributes - If you’ve got one or more, we’d love to hear from you- Degree qualification or equivalent experience in Automotive warranty policy and claim compilation.- 5+ years’ accumulative experience in relevant automotive industry- Experience and high-level proficiency in data management software (e.g. SAP or Power BI)- Experienced and high-level proficiency with using MS Excel- Intermediate to advanced skills in utilising the Microsoft Office Suite.- Proven Project management experience- Track record in meeting critical deadlines- Strong stakeholder management and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with all.- Ability to maintain all relevant safety processes and compliance documentation consistently to a high standard.- Excellent problem solving and lateral thinking skills.
