THE ROLE
The Head of Legal, Housing and Corporate is a new role in the Legal Services Branch that will report to Co-General Counsel and be responsible for leading three high-performing teams in the Legal Services Branch - the Housing Development and Commercial Team, the Housing Operations Team and the Corporate Team - and oversee legal services delivered to the Ministers, the Secretary, the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing and the associated Administrative Offices.
A key focus for the Head of Legal, Housing and Corporate is the legal aspects of delivering Homes Victoria's procurement, development and commercial project activities in conjunction with Homes Victoria's internal teams and external advisors/stakeholders, providing advice and guidance where required. The Head of Legal, Housing and Corporate, will proactively address legal issues associated with managing the State's $5.3 billion Big Housing Build investment program.
