About the Role

Due to a promotion in the team, a full time permanent Workplace Services Coordinator position has become available at AGL. As part of the wider Property & Security Services team, you will support the Workplace Services Manager with the management and leadership of a multi-skilled team of Workplace Services Representatives (receptionists/administrators) including coaching, training and assisting with daily operations. You will generate and contribute ideas and initiatives that support business improvement and continuous improvement across the Workplace Services function.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support the Workplace Services Manager with the day to day operations of the Workplace Services team across reception, mail room and other administration/office management coordination activities
- Deploy training to new Workplace Services Representatives including coaching and support
- Leadership, support and oversight of Workplace Services Representatives
- Act as first point of escalation within the Melbourne-based Workplace Services team to ensure operations are running smoothly
- Deal promptly and comprehensively with all inquiries and correspondence, prioritising where necessary, personally dealing with them or referring them as appropriate
- Work proactively to identify gaps and deliver high quality solutions and improvements of internal processes
- Work proactively and cross functionally to support AGL’s other corporate sites as required
- Generating reports and team processes, following up invoices and managing suppliers
About You
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar position such as reception/admin/workplace services in a fast paced environment
- Prior experience supervising or managing a small team of employees or contractors is preferred
- Exceptional PC skills, with a focus on the MS Suite of programs and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with a diverse range of people at varying levels across an organisation
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team and effectively manage time and prioritise workload
