- What You’ll Be Doing:_
This role is focused on supporting Aboriginal employment and retention within the business and aligning with initiatives aimed at closing the gap between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities. You will be part of a culturally respectful and inclusive environment. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing strategies to support Aboriginal employment and retention.
- Assisting in the recruitment of Aboriginal people across all states in which we operate.
- Upholding and promoting principles of trust, respect, and cultural recognition in all interactions.
- Promoting and embedding Aboriginal cultural values and traditions within the business.

Selection Criteria:
1. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal communities, cultural protocols, and the current issues affecting Aboriginal communities.
2. Demonstrates understanding of the cleaning industry, including the integration of Aboriginal culture and values into workplace practices, and awareness of issues impacting Aboriginal employees and the broader workforce.
3. Ability to develop, implement, and manage policies, projects, and initiatives that positively impact Aboriginal employment and workforce development within the cleaning sector.
4. Proven ability to interpret complex information with problem-solving, and strategic planning to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
5. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment to achieve shared goals and client satisfaction.
6. Written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to engage and negotiate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external.
7. Flexibility to travel interstate across service areas may be required.
Pay: $80,000.00 per year
