We are searching for an experienced Procurement Officer for our Warehouse to provide support to the Warehouse Manager in the effective and efficient management of inbound and outbound shipments at our Smithfield warehouse. In this role, you will be required to coordinate orders and deliveries, assist with performing regular inventory analyses, and review & reporting supply/demand requirements to ensure consistent stock levels.
- Previous (1-3 years) experience in a customer service and/or warehouse role as a minimum.
- Computer literacy and understanding of MS Office suite
- Previous experience in a database management system (data entry, etc) ideal
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Sound problem solving, attention to detail and documenting skills
- Demonstrated understanding of customer service of internal and external customers and is committed to effectively meet their needs in a helpful and professional manner.
- Ability to propose and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
