**About the Role**:
We are currently recruiting for a Terminal Manager based at our Perth Airport site to provide support and guidance across the terminal. The successful applicant will be a modest leader, have a well-developed sense of initiative and be decisive. They will be creative, committed, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to different environments. As a Terminal Manager at WHSmith, you will be responsible for:

- Leading a 'Customer first' culture, ensuring that our Service Guarantee is role-modelled and consistently implemented.
- Identifying recruitment and training & development needs of your team.
- Rostering in a safe, legal, and compliant way to maximise business opportunities and demands.
- Building relationships with key stakeholders.
- Execution of marketing initiatives/promotional cycles.
- Stock replenishment and merchandising in line with planograms.
- Providing feedback to Area and Operations Manager on performance or opportunities.

The leadership team currently work a rotating roster which includes 1 Saturday & 1 Sunday every 6 weeks, with rostered days off in the week to account for this. As well as a mixture of early (6am start), day (9am start) and evening (11pm finish) shifts across the 38-hour working week.

***About You**:
We are looking for a natural born leader with strong retail management experience, along with the following:

- 2 year's management experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Experience managing the stock lifecycle.
- Knowledge of rostering compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to achieve targets and KPIs aligned with business requirements.
- An unwavering determination to succeed.
- Flexibility with work hours and the ability to work weekends/public holidays when required.
