**The role**

Reporting to the Manager - Albany Terminal, we have an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor - Albany Terminal to join the Albany Operations team on a permanent basis.

Key deliverables include:
- Supervising the efficient and timely loading of vessels.- Providing support and coaching for personnel located at the terminal to ensure the achievement of performance, behavioural and safety objectives.- Conducting, leading, and participating in safety audits, investigations, and initiatives.- Coordinating the planning, rostering, and scheduling of the team to meet operational requirements.- Conducting, developing, and participating in training and development initiatives for team members, including providing on-the-job training and conducting toolbox and pre-start meetings.- Supervising team members to ensure that productivity targets are achieved.- Supporting the Manager - Albany Terminal to achieve maximum site efficiency and minimise costs.

Note: this role may be required to work a shift pattern as and when operationally required.

**Skills and Experience**- Demonstrated experience working in a team-orientated, operational environment.- Proven commitment to a ‘safety first’ culture.- Proven ability to plan and communicate effectively.- Competent in the operation of the Microsoft Office suite of products.- Demonstrated experience supervising or leading a team (desirable).- Experience in the grain handling industry (desirable).- Exposure to operations storage and quality management systems (desirable).- Qualifications in business, management, commerce, or related discipline (desirable).
