**The Opportunity**
We are seeking an experienced and passionate **Health Promotion Program Lead** to enhance our dedicated Health Promotion Team. In this pivotal role, you will use systems thinking and intersectional health equity approaches to:
- **Lead impactful programs** addressing community health and wellbeing priorities.
- **Collaborate strategically** with internal teams and external partners to deliver innovative, evidence-based initiatives.
- **Inspire and support your team,** fostering a culture of trust, engagement, and continuous development.
- **Influence policy and strategy,** advocating for inclusive, size-friendly, and gender-equitable practices.
- **Drive accountability,** overseeing budgets, compliance, and performance metrics.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead, plan, and evaluate initiatives aligned with the BHN Health Promotion Plan.
- Cultivate high-level operational and strategic partnerships.
- Guide and support a team of Health Promotion Officers, ensuring their professional growth and success.
- Deliver evidence-based advocacy and policy development aligned with health equity frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and accreditation standards.
**About You**
You’re a dynamic and empathetic leader with:
- Tertiary qualifications in health, public health, or health promotion.
- Proven experience designing and delivering impactful health promotion programs.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Knowledge of systems theory, gender equity principles, and size-inclusive practices.
- A commitment to inclusive, culturally aware leadership.
