**The Role**

Provide support and coordination to ensure the effective day to day running of the operations at APRA for both Facilities and Reception. The facilities team manages 5 sites nationally, 4 of these are virtual offices.

Duties include and are not limited to the Coordination of the Facilities Helpdesk, the outsourcing of repairs and maintenance work, maintaining stock levels for kitchens and utility areas, supervising the issuance of security access cards, coordinating external contractors, and the close liaison with Building Management.

**The Team**

The Facilities Coordinator operates within the Property and Facilities team (PF) within the Enterprise Services Division of APRA. This division supports the achievement of APRA’s corporate strategies, policies, and procedures. This involves the delivery of various services to APRA’s internal clients and external stakeholders utilising both internal and external resources.

**What your typical day will look like**
- Work proactively as well as reactively to coordinate the facilities. Anticipate needs and deliver timely and effective service, contributing to the smooth facilities coordination to cover 5 sites nationally (4 virtually).
- Manage and coordinate service desk requests within the set SLAs.
- Maintain knowledge and documentation of the premises and issues affecting the team.
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Ensure reception responsibilities are carried out in an effective and professional manner by supporting the reception officer as part of a closeknit and friendly team.
- Addressing challenges as and when they arise, escalating to the attention of the Office Manager as needed.

**About you**
- Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills.
- Experience with contributing to running the operations of an office.
- Intermediate knowledge and experience with Microsoft Suite and data processing skills.
- Strong sense of initiative to be able to identify areas of administrative improvement and take ownership of processes.
- Highly developed communication skills.
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrated strong interpersonal skills.
- High level attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience and/or knowledge of office maintenance and repairs would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards would be advantageous.
- Experience in project administration would be advantageous.
- Existing Baseline security clearance (or higher) or be eligible to complete a Baseline security clearance.
