**The Role**

Our client is one of the largest Third Party Claims Administrators in Australia. They are seeking an experienced
**Specialty Claims Consultant **with a Medical negligence, medical malpractice, complex liability, professional indemnity, health or travel claims background to work within their professional, well-established team. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex claims end to end.

- Salary between $80,000 - $120,000 + super depending on experience

**The Role will involve**:

- Managing an end to end specialty claims portfolio withing a delegated authority limit.
- Gathering evidence and determining liability on complex and contentious claims
- Providing support and advice to policy holders, key claimants and stakeholders
- Liaising with stakeholders when necessary including but not limited to, doctors, nurses, lawyers, litigation specialists and claimants.
- Ability to understand policy wordings
- WFH flexibility following training with head office in Sydney 2000
- Previous experience handling Medical Negligence, Medical Malpractice, Professional Indemnity, Liability, Health or Travel claims for a minimum 2 years
- Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
- Understanding of operational processes and procedures required in team environments.
- Experience in managing claims and stakeholders effectively
- A team centric approach to work
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Great communication skills
