**How will I help?**

The Portfolio Manager is an important leadership role within Commercial Banking and is critical to achieving Westpac’s vision.

You are primarily accountable for working across the Westpac and Bank of Melbourne brands in the commercial banking business to project manage complex cash flow lending transactions including continuously monitoring and reviewing customer and sector risks; and providing expert insight and advice across diversified industries.

You will lead a team of Credit Analysts and matrix deal teams including sales commercial bankers and leaders and credit partners and their support teams in the preparation and execution of complex customer requirements. The role is a key stakeholder for, and has a seat at the table with the State General Manager and State Leadership team for Commercial banking in VIC/TAS.

**What do I need?**
We’re looking for a seasoned Commercial or Institutional Banker with experience in leadership and coaching. You’ll be commercially focussed and risk astute, bringing passion and energy as well as a good understanding of the financial services market, credit risk and compliance.
