**Job Purpose**
- Lead and drive requirements gathering, solution design, test and deployment activities.
- Act as an IT consultant, assess new business requirements and initiatives against solutions to understand functional and technical fit, and make system recommendations for new capabilities and enhancement releases
- Project Work - may be assigned either part time or full time onto projects being delivered by the Program Delivery team. As part of the project team and reporting to a Project manager perform assigned tasks and follow relevant project procedures, methodologies.

**Critical Experience**

**Critical Knowledge**
- Preferable Experience in the Utilities / Telecommunication industry in two or more of the following areas: Applications Development, Solution Architecture, Project Management, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance and Support
- Significant experience in SAP IS-U billing/finance support role
- Comprehensive understanding of FI-CA and DM functionality including but not limited to:

- Detailed configuration experience in many of the following FI-CA components: Billing, Aggregation, Invoicing, Payments Life Cycle, Tax and Exception handing configuration.
- Detailed configuration knowledge and experience with DM (device management) from meter scheduling to meter read order creation and fulfillment.
- Should have extensive working experience and knowledge of the below technical / function activities.
- Understanding of other areas of meter to cash lifecycle including Customer Service in utilities
- Experience in configuration and problem-solving skills in SAP Finance Module FICO (ECC and S4), Sales & Distribution (SD), and Project Systems (PS).
- Experience in Cost Centre Accounting (CCA), Profit Centre Accounting (PCA).
- Interactions with clients to understand the requirement and concerns over the existing SAP systems to identify improvement points.
- Configure SAP as required.
- Knowledge of other SAP modules that integrate with module of expertise
- Sound Data Integrity Management
- Relevant business experience in key metering and revenue functions and processes
- Relevant business experience in market interactions
- Experience in delivering services within a commercial framework
- Excellent analysis, problem management & design skills
- Ability to Coach, Mentor and develop technical staff
- Effective collaboration skills with experience working as part of cross functional agile teams
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner orally and in writing to different levels within the organization
- Relevant tertiary qualification in IT Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or a related discipline required
- Incident Management tool (Service Now, Remedy)
- Exposure to the one or more of regulatory bodies
- AEMO, STTM, DSDBI, ACMA
- Operate within frameworks of SDLC, ITIL Change and Service Management
- Maintain, plan and be a part of rostered 24x7 on call break fix support and to ensure service levels are achieved
- Excellent Defect Management, support experience for various test cycles including Functional, UAT & participate and organise defect triage meetings
- The ability to work at all levels within the organisation
