**About the opportunity**
The Learning and Development Coordinator reports to the Group Talent and Organisational Development Manager and is part of the People, Safety and Culture team. The key focus of this role is the effective coordination of an extensive range of training across our group, for all roles and all levels within NEX Building Group. More specifically, you will:
- Track training registrations and completions for all courses including anytime online courses, short courses, accreditations and programs across the group (including ensuring relevant approvals have been obtained)
- Work closely with stakeholders and team members for preparation and coordination of training events
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our Learning Management System (Cornerstone), in collaboration with system administrators
- Develop compliance training including policies and mandatory training programs
- Collaborate with our SMEs who author training content and assist with module creation within Easy-generator and other programs
- Support the Group OD Manager with the development of bespoke courses
- Manage and update the learning events calendar
- Build relationships with our external training providers including AIM, TAFE NSW/IAT, the HIA and MBA
- Accurately maintain data on key metrics on training completions and registrations and other required reporting
- Monitor the impact and effectiveness of learning activities in alignment with evaluation frameworks
- Travel occasionally to facilitate training
**About you**
You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values of Accountability, Better Together, People Matter and Think Bigger. In addition, you will possess/demonstrate:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent (desirable)
- Proficiency in e-learning design and delivery tools
- Experience using and optimising a Learning Management System (LMS)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be up to date on the latest technology used in training facilitation
- Be resilient and adaptable in an ever-changing environment
- Driven by making a difference and driving the achievement of L&D goals
