About the Role
MAURI, part of the George Weston Foods Group, is a leading supplier of high-quality flours, yeasts, pre-mixes, improvers, and grains. Together, we sustainably feed the nation.
We are looking for a Packing Operator to join our team in Moorooka, Brisbane. This is an entry-level role within our Flour Milling division.
Reporting to the Mixing & Packing Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that our products are made to a high-quality standard in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner.

**Here's what you'll be doing**:

- Operating machinery safely and efficiently, according to Standard Operating Procedures
- Meeting quality and food safety policies and procedures
- Using appropriate PPE to work in a safe manner, following manual handling techniques and adhering to site safety policies and procedures
- This role operates on a shift schedule that rotates weekly, with the shift hours currently being 2pm-10pm and 6am-2pm

About You
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to creating a safe working environment for yourself and others
- Ability to work as part of a team across departments
- Knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (BRC) would be an advantage
