Our experts work in collaboration with partners within the national sporting system to create and deliver high performance support services and environments to prepare athletes and coaches for international competition.
**About the role**
The Strength and Conditioning Provider designs, implements and delivers strength and conditioning programs and coaching that effectively optimises the achievement of athlete and sport program performance outcomes. These positions will deliver technical expertise, services and support to athletes and coaches as part of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring continuous development for each sport program and/or athlete.
There are 2 full time positions available, attracting a salary range of $83,120 - $88,108 plus superannuation. The contract period for this role is up to 31 December 2028 in line with the Olympic cycle.
This is an identified position requiring a Working with Children Check.

**About you**
You will have:
- 5+ years (2 years full-time) demonstrated experience of planning and periodising athletes across seasons/campaigns
- Demonstrated experience working in a performance environment encompassing project and research work
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performance team / organisation, establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with key internal and/or eternal stakeholders
- Ability to analyse, interpret, summarise, and communicate relevant data/results including strength and conditioning reports to athletes and coaches for improved performance
- Demonstrated experience assisting in the maintenance, technical operation and related procedures/protocols of sport science equipment and facilities
- Demonstrated experience in successful physical preparation program design and practical implementation for athletes across all components
- Demonstrated experience of holistic approaches to planning and monitoring athletic performance
- Highly competent in a practical setting to coach individual and groups of athletes
- Demonstrated communication skills (including interpersonal, negotiation, influencing and representation) and ability to build and maintain effective relationships both internally and externally with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of MS Office and other sports specific computer programs (Vald & Smartabase desirable)
**Essential Requirements**
- Undergraduate degree in Exercise, Health, Sport Science, Coaching or related field
- ASCA Associate Level 2 Coach or international equivalent
- Minimum 2+ years full-time experience in conditioning / physical preparation program design and practical implementation for performance athletes
- Sport Integrity Australia (SIA) Anti-doping Fundamentals and Annual update
- Valid Driver’s License
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Awareness of contemporary issues relating to athletes in high performance sport (mental health, wellbeing, social issues)
