**Design**
**Draftsperson **to join our team. This role will be based in our

**THE ROLE**:
**Working under the direction of the Drafting Team Leader, as a Design Drafter, you would be expected to:

- **
- Plan, prepare and create documentation sets using AutoCAD and Revit in both 2D and 3D to communicate engineering designs for hydraulic systems filtration, sanitation, and circulation systems involved with commercial swimming pool and other aquatic elements
- Review, re-draft, and mark-up drawing sets to meet client and company specifications
- Revise documentation sets to create as-built documentation
- Generate document transmittals for issue
- Produce BIM deliverables utilising associated software such as Revizto clash detection software and dRofus and CoBie
- Interpreting and implementing project managers BIM execution plans
- Problem solving complicated spatial layouts
- Assist drafting leader with block generation for inclusion into an AutoCAD block and Revit family library
- Completing all tasks in accordance with Aquatic One’s safety, environmental and quality policies, safety principles, corporate values and strategies.

**THE CANDIDATE**:

- A tertiary qualification in Drafting or relevant trade experience
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD 2D & 3D Programs, Revit program as well as strong computing skills in the Microsoft Office Suite;
- Time management and organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines
- Professional telephone manner and interpersonal (verbal and written) skills
- Be a self-starter with attention to detail
- Be able to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Proven work history in a commercial and flexible environment
- Excellent communicator both written and verbal
- Drivers licence.
