Due to growth in the business, we are currently seeking to employ an experienced Project Commercial Lead.

**Job Description**:

- The Project Commercial Lead will be responsible for commercial management of our projects, commercial review of subcontract agreements, implementation and support of subcontract management processes, contribute to project strategy and drive commercial outcomes.
- Preparation and submission of progress claims and ensuring their timely payment.
- Monitoring project costs against budgets.
- Prepare, submit & agree on contractual claims for time & money.
- Subcontract management including receipt and processing of subcontract interim payment claims & final accounts.
- Advise the project management team on contractual issues & initiate correspondence.
- Prepare, review & submit reports to prescribed timescales (including equipment and cost reports).
- Confidence in negotiation and cost management skills.

**Qualifications**:

- Ideally have a qualification in Project Management, Construction Management or Commercial Law.
- Prior experience in construction, mining or oil and gas projects (highly advantageous)
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Understanding the risks and limitations associated with all project legal agreements and requirements
- Ability to engage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to present information to a range of audiences.
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, intermediate to advanced Excel skills
