The Role

As Engineering Lead, you'll be the technical authority within Atlas, driving structural design, innovation, and delivery.

You'll:

  • Lead the design of full building systems combining precast and in-situ concrete.
  • Establish and manage structural/drafting strategies with our BIM Lead and offshore drafting team.
  • Partner with our structural formwork business to create end-to-end building frame solutions.
  • Mentor and grow a high-performing engineering team.
  • Engage directly with builders, developers, and engineers to de-risk projects and win work through smarter design.

This is a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of design, production, and market strategy.

About You

We're looking for an engineer who's ready to lead with the following experience and skills:

  • Significant structural engineering experience (precast, hybrid, or full building systems).
  • Strong knowledge of reinforced and prestressed concrete, plus systems such as hollowcore, Peikko Deltabeam, Transfloor/Humeslab, and BubbleDeck.
  • Experience leading design teams and managing shop drawing workflows (local or offshore).
  • Skilled in structural design software, with BIM exposure (Tekla/Revit).
  • Commercially minded, with a focus on constructability, cost, and program.
  • A mentor and leader who thrives in a collaborative environment.
