**The Opportunity**

Are you a Learning and Development professional looking for both purpose and flexibility in your work? How about bringing your skills and experience to help build First Nations Cultural Inclusion Capability for a Federal Government Agency?

We have several opportunities nationally for learning and development professionals with a proven track record engaging with Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities. This opportunity is a 12-month contract with a strong view to extend.

Suitably experienced Indigenous Australians are strongly encouraged to apply.

**About our Client**

Our client is an independent statutory agency that is responsible for implementing different programs which will support a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australians with a significant and permanent disability and their families and carers. Our client values a positive contemporary attitude to disability.

**The Role Requirements**
- Leading and participating in capability and learning projects.
- Coordinating learning and development activities.
- Maintaining the governance process across the L & D team.
- Assist with Structural design of needs analysis.
- Coordinating learning workshops.
- Analysis and efficacy of all L&D activities including reporting.
- Performance gap analysis.
- Manage a portfolio of learning solutions.
- Procurement of external providers.
- Train the Trainer.

**About you**

This role will be key in building the agency's First Nations Cultural Inclusion Learning package. Therefore, you will be able to demonstrate a tangible understanding of the issues affecting First Nations peoples.
- You will have 3 -5 years' experience in a learning and development role.
- Demonstrated experience in developing C&I related learning products.
- Demonstrated cultural competency, including culturally appropriate engagement and communication skills.
- Current National Police Clearance
