**About the role**
We are currently looking for experienced, committed, and compassionate disability support workers to provide respite services in our newly established SIL accommodation within the Winsor. Come and join our five-star disability accommodation with a therapeutic touch, to help every participant create a new beginning for themselves. Our purpose is to help participants recover, rejuvenate and recalibrate in every way through a transdisciplinary approach.

**What are we looking for?**
- Minimum 2+ years' experience within the disability, community services or similar in assisting clients with high care physical requirements.
- Experience working with elderly participants stroke - ABI, intellectual disability and complex care.
- Demonstrated experience supporting challenging behaviours (highly valued)
- Willingness to support clients with personal care including showering, manual handling, medications, community access, meal preparation, domestic chores and mealtime assistance.
- Certificate III or above in Disability Support or similar
- Must be available to work 20+ hours per week and able to work a rotating roster including sleepover shifts & active nights.
**Mandatory Requirement -**
- Valid Victorian Driver’s License
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Valid First Aid Certificate and CPR
- Manual Handling certificate
- Medication Administration certificate
- Victorian Working with Children’s Check
- National Police Check (obtained within last 6 months)
