**In the role of Finance Advisor (Systems), you will be part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team responsible for developing, delivering, and advising on system solutions within the current ERP environment. Specifically, the Finance Advisor (Systems) will:
- Support Operational Planning: Assist the team leader by contributing to operational planning and performance measures, including the preparation of reports, documents, and correspondence for business partners, management, and staff.
- Work with the Systems Unit to make business process and system improvements in Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, P&PM and CA-TS modules. Contribute to enhancements and business-as-usual fixes by:
- Participating in or providing input for TMR projects and system developments.
- Developing test scenarios, plans, and conducting system testing as needed.
- Preparing and maintaining operational procedure documentation aligned with quality assurance standards.
- SAP System Operations:
- Perform key SAP system tasks such as interface monitoring and maintenance, job scheduling, file transfers, and management of system master data and table maintenance activities.
- Financial and Payroll Processing: Oversee SAP financial and payroll processes, including daily, weekly, end-of-month, and end-of-year activities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to identify and implement business improvement opportunities, system modifications and upgrades.
The appointee may be required to participate in job rotation and multi-skilling across the Systems Branch.

Requirements of the role
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of payroll and financial processing in SAP ECC 6, along with a solid understanding of associated operational and business processes.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse problems and propose solutions.
- Work autonomously and as a member of a team to deliver defined outputs with specific deadlines so the expected outcomes are achieved, whilst taking personal accountability for learning and coaching other team members.
- Communicate in a clear, succinct and deliberate manner, adjusting the message so that it resonates with different stakeholders to enable collaborative customer focused outcomes and build enduring relationships.
- Demonstrates flexibility to changing expectations and technology by proactively adapting own approach to reflect new requirements.
Other requirements: Occasional weekend work may be required to support business as usual activities and project work.
