Snowy Hydro owns and operates a powerful combination of generation assets, including the mighty Snowy Mountains Scheme, gas and diesel plants, and contracted wind and solar energy. We also provide electricity and gas to about 1 million retail customers through our retail brands Red Energy and Lumo Energy. Snowy 2.0 is Australia's largest committed renewable energy project. This nation-building project will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.
We're looking for a Services Assurance Manager to join our Snowy 2.0 team covering all sites across the project where you will provide an assurance function over the critical enabling services and to ensure site works being undertaken are in line with employer requirements. This includes services such as logistics, site waste facilities, transportation, materials handling, accommodation, communications and networks are all ‘right to start' and maintained in line with project activity and schedule.

**Your key responsibilities in this role will include**:
Review Contractor documentation against project requirements and obligations

Conduct regular and targeted inspections, where possible, in conjunction with the Contractor's representatives, to ensure contractor compliance with the above;
Assist in undertaking desktop audits with the Contractor on targeted elements of the logistics management activities.

Regularly monitor environmental conditions such as alpine weather, road conditions and fire danger forecasts to proactively identify potential impacts on project services.

Providing assurance that logistics and transport coming into and out of the project sites is planned safely and in accordance with the project schedule.

Provide assurance that the contractor has contingency plans in place for all key project logistic functions.

Manage Quality Assurance protocols.

Support the investigation and analysis of critical service failure and performance issues to identify root causes and assist in developing countermeasures to prevent recurrence.

**We're looking for someone with**:
Tertiary qualifications in Project Management are desirable

10 years of experience in logistics management and planning.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to convey information and ideas to individuals and groups.

Highly developed influencing and negotiation skills

Proactive, goal orientated with high level attention to detail

Able to identify issues, problems and opportunities; make timely decisions; develop appropriate and innovative solutions; and ask for assistance if required
