**Here's an overview of our role**:
Our Maintenance Scheduling and Planning Lead Engineer is responsible for providing Engineering maintenance planning and scheduling services to support the safety, reliability, integrity and long term value of Jemena’s AS2885 Asset Class.

This will be achieved by the development and implementation of high quality:

- Maintenance Plans
- Maintenance schedules for minor asset outages
- Overall management and stewardship of minor asset outages
- Asset maintenance strategy inputs
- Operational Engineering Support as required
- Engineering investigation and reporting as required

**Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Ensure minor asset outage planning and scheduling activities are aligned to ensure successful delivery of minor asset outages.
- Develop Scopes of Work, Opportunity Briefs, Options Analysis and Business Cases to support capital and operating works program as required.
- Identify projects required to deliver the Asset Class Strategies through the development of high quality and clearly defined opportunity briefs as required.
- Actively minimizes maintenance costs by looking for and documenting cost-saving opportunities.
- Works with Service Providers to ensure alignment with Maintenance Processes.
- Ensure preventative maintenance planning and scheduling activities are aligned.
- Ensures alignment and oversight of assigned service providers.
- Ensures maintenance practices and systems are optimize to ensure operational safety and availability.
- Monitors and/or implements maintenance work execution systems and processes to ensure asset compliance, efficiencies, and timely response to operational needs.

**A little about you**:

- Bachelor Degree and/or higher in Engineering.
- Good technical experience in a safety critical industry.
- Experience in Australian energy utilities/services provider and contractor market.
- Track record of ownership over equipment reliability.
- Strong knowledge in managing and driving equipment reliability improvements.
- Sound written and verbal skills.
