**The Role**
Defence Mobility is looking for a motivated, high performing and experienced individual to manage the delivery of ICT capability. This is a well skilled and diverse team dedicated to the planning, delivery and support of Defence’s ICT mobility capability.
Some of the key duties of this role are:
- Manage the Mobility Program of work.
- Provide oversight of multiple projects/activities and in-service ICT mobile capabilities within Mobility program across security domain from Official up to Protected.
- Manage the roadmap of Mobility program capabilities for Defence.
- Manage, support and delivery continuous enhancement to Mobility Platform across multiple security domain.
- Manage project management tools to ensure the information is maintained, relevant and up to date, including Schedule, Risks and Issues, Project Status Reports, Financial reports, and dependencies.
- Raise exception reports when a project has failed to meet its timeframes and needs to be re-baselined.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations.
- Ensure vendors and other supporting teams meet deadlines and timeframes agreed by the project.
- Undertake procurement for services, contractors, hardware and software to support mobility projects.

The Mobility program is responsible for Mobile Capability handling from official up to Protected information. It is our mission to deliver leading edge sovereign capability to support the Defence’s mission. Mobility Program is seeking an EL 1 - ICT Project Manager for the continued delivery of Mobility capabilities.
These capabilities have a direct impact to the strategic goals of Defence. Mobility Program is looking for high performing, experienced Project Manager to lead their small but dynamic team. This is a well skilled and diverse team dedicated to the delivery and support of critical systems. Collectively we rely on each other’s knowledge and strengths to achieve the end result.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have Experience delivering ICT infrastructure projects.
- Have experience delivering ICT projects and programs.
- Experience with working on multiple security domain on ICT capabilities.
- Experience with Mobile ICT capabilities.
- Be capable of working with a wide variety of customers and stakeholders, including national authorities.
- Be able to work in a fluid environment by remaining flexible, agile and adaptable.
- Be able to negotiate outcomes while maintaining relationships.
