Future Air Mobility Systems Program Office (FAMSPO) is one of Aerospace Systems Division’s ‘Future-Series SPOs’, responsible for the acquisition of air mobility capabilities that support combat, humanitarian, diplomatic and peace-keeping operations.
You will be a valuable member of the FAMSPO Management Team. You will directly manage the team of centralised Project Controllers. This is an exciting role that offers you the opportunity to practice and grow your scheduling skills, process improvement and people management skills.
Underpinning all of these activities is communication. You will be the conduit that drives efficient business processes, effective governance, practical compliance, and most importantly, a respectful, productive and fun workplace.
As an EL 1 Project Controller, you will be responsible managing project and program-level scheduling activities as required In this role you will ensure that FAMSPO schedules comply with CASG Quality Management System (QMS), CASG Business Management System (BMS) and FAMSPO Schedule Management Plan requirements. You will provide advice to Project Managers on schedule risk, opportunities and issues and ensure mitigation activities are adequately reflected in the project schedule while ensuring program-level schedules are developed and maintained as required to support SPO planning and reporting requirements.
As FAMSPO’s EL 1 Project Controller you will belong to the Program Management Function. You will work with project and finance personnel to ensure end of month reporting is completed on time, assist with the development of tailored project and program performance reports and intelligence as requested by the FAMSPO Executive and perform the role of secretariat for Project Management Boards. You will conduct routine project controls health checks and work with the Program Management Function Lead to address any identified gaps or opportunities for improvement as well as maintain the FAMSPO Schedule Management Plan, ensuring it satisfies current CASG scheduling practice.

Future Air Mobility Systems Program Office (FAMSPO) is an innovative, exciting and people-focussed acquisition SPO located in Airlift and Tanker Systems (ATS) Branch under Aerospace Systems Division (ASD).
As one of ASD’s ‘Future-Series’ SPOs, it is responsible for the acquisition of air mobility capabilities that support combat, humanitarian, diplomatic and peacekeeping operations. As a matrixed organisation, there is a wide variety of work and plenty of development opportunities across a program of key Defence air mobility projects, covering platforms such as the C-130J Hercules, C-27J Spartan, KC-30A and Special Purpose Aircraft.
