**About the Role**

As we continue to grow and expand, we are seeking experienced and passionate people to join our community team. We have a client in the **Pitt Town** area with complex needs and your responsibilities would include:

- ** Personal Care** assistance and supporting with hygiene, including bowel care
- Support the client with **activities out in the community**, as well accompanying them to medical appointments and therapy
- Providing Support in everyday activities around the home including domestic assistance
- Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
- A range of shifts to suit everyone, both mornings and evening shifts available

**About you**

As an experienced Disability Support Worker, you will bring with you a wonderful attitude and approach that is client centric. With the client’s needs front and centre you will have/be:

- Passionate about providing high-needs care and understanding the complexities of living with a **spinal cord injury**:

- Good **Manual Handing** skills including hoist and wheelchair assistance
- Experienced or willing to be trained in **complex care** including bowel management
- NDIS Clearance, Working with Children’s Check, National Police Check & Current First Aid & CPR
- Minimum **Cert III qualification** (i.e. Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability) is essential
- Up to date Covid 19 vaccinations including booster shot
