Dehack Supervisor - PGH Scoresby
We are seeking a Dehack Supervisor working Monday to Friday, and Saturday overtime at our PGH Bricks Scoresby site. You will ensure work is planned and organised so that all resources are efficiently utilised, standards are maintained, and tasks are completed as scheduled.
PGH Bricks & Pavers, a part of CSR Limited, is a leading manufacturer and distributor of high-quality clay products with operations across the east coast of Australia.

**Some of your duties will include (but not limited to)**:

- Safely contribute to quality Production output per budget quantities.
- Ensure all Safety standards are always adhered to by all team members and creating a culture of proactive safety
- Assist and contribute to the broader site team to achieve a step change in Workstation (Site) Safety Culture
- Assist with and contribute to the reduction of Brick reject levels, waste, and machinery downtime.
- Mentor, train, and support team members and hold them accountable/manage to deliver workstation objectives
- Ensure production related paperwork is submitted to Production Manager daily
- Review data for the Workstation with Production Manager to improved OEE for the workstation.
- Machinery downtime of more than ten minutes to be investigated and recommendations implemented to reduce future downtime
- Lead communication and toolbox talks for the workstation and liaise with management to deliver key messaging and feedback.
- Participate in CI projects and other improvement initiatives to maximise efficiencies that benefit the site
- Contribute to customer DIFOT of 95%
- Update documentation for the workstation as and when required (including, but not limited to, work instructions, JSEA, Risk assessments)
- Manage daily Visual management factory boards and deliver toolbox talks.

What would make you a good fit?
- Similar experience in a supervisory role, with a strong ability to engage and manage a team
- A strong safety focus, mechanical aptitude, and good problem-solving ability
- Chain of Responsibility knowledge
- Excellent organisation and document control
- Effective communication and team building skills
- Computer literacy with SAP experience
- Trade qualifications will be highly regarded
- Forklift licence is necessary for this role
- Understanding of basic continuous improvement tools
- Dehack experience is not essential, however experience in machinery and production management exposure will be advantageous.
