**Description**:
Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager we are seeking an experienced Production Planner. This role will be responsible to plan and prepare production schedules for dispensing, manufacturing, and packaging lines.
**Key duties**:
Plan and prepare production schedules with a fixed production plan.
Attend Daily Direction Setting meetings to issue production updates.
Issue the Bill of Materials and paperwork to various departments ensuring all materials are available.
Ensure products are made efficiently and in accordance with the production plan.
Forecast master production scheduling (to establish time and sequence).
Provide daily output rates, standard rates, and reasons for discrepancies, and provide improvement suggestions.
Be actively involved in the planning and introduction of new products and projects.
**Skills and Experiences**:
**Skills**:
At least 2+ years’ experience as a Production Planner or in a similar role in manufacturing environment.
Exceptional time managements skills, be able to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy & quality.
Work as an autonomous and proactive team member in a small team environment.
Willingness to learn and work towards continuous improvement.
Advanced Excel skills required.
