**About the role**
As the Grade 1 Social Worker you will be responsible for providing clinical social work services to referred inpatients and families. A regular day will see you work clinically with patients, attend family meetings and non clinical meetings, and undertake other duties that support the social work department and its operations. In this role we will provide you with opportunities to develop and grow in a supportive environment. You will receive clinical supervision, professional development and support from your clinical team, leaders and manager.
**Key responsibilities will see you**:
- provide counselling to patients and families
- participate in multi - disciplinary, clinical and staff meetings
- participate in quality improvement or research activities
**You must have**:
- a degree in Social Work
- the ability to work and contribute to team culture and work within a multidisciplinary environment
