**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
**Summary of the role**:This position encompasses a clinical case load across a number of areas, including inpatients, outpatients and Emergency Department.
- Located at the Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg, Social Work Department
- Permanent, 3 days per week, part - time position
- This position will form part of an integral multi-disciplinary team and will be required to provide highly responsive and flexible services to consumers whilst upholding a high level of professionalism and practising within the core values of Mercy Health
- Provision of clinical supervision and early career allied health education program to support professional development

**ABOUT YOU:
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work and eilgible for membership to the AASW
- Sound knowledge of current evidence based practices and a commitment to continuing professional development and research
- Prior hospital experience is highly desirable
- Experience working in women and children's services is desirable
- Adaptable, creative with a passion for patient focused care

- Mercy Hospital for Women is a fully accredited Level 6 Public Specialist Teaching Hospital providing both public and private patient care through maternity services, neonatology and paediatrics, perioperative services, gynaecology, women's health and associated health, support and diagnostic services. We are a major teaching hospital and specialist referral centre with the medical, nursing, midwifery and allied health expertise to treat the most complex obstetric, neonatal and gynaecological cases.
