Esg Technical Specialist

Xenith is also focusing on future-facing commodities and alternate land uses for mines.

**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- Support Xenith’s team delivering our unique engineering capabilities in the ESG space to our customers, including Technology, Digital, Innovative, Nature Based and Decarbonization Solutions.
- Identifying our client’s needs and offer solutions to achieve their Net Zero strategy across Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
- Assist in identifying technologies, skills and systems which will help increase Xenith’s ESG solutions portfolio and capabilities to the market.
- Work with a high performing team with a strong commitment to technical excellence in pursuit of helping our clients drive profitability and performance while supporting their transition towards sustainable development.
- Support Xenith’s portfolio by learning and delivering our current range of services, including Field Support, Environmental, Cultural Heritage, Native Title, Surveys, among others.
- Direct working experience in the Forestry or Agtech industries.
- Ability to guide and assist stakeholders on governance improvements and ESG solutions including environment or integrated management systems implementation and industry best practices.
- Experience on delivering project design, reports, assessments and due diligence following relevant standards and programs such as but not limited to: ISO series, GRI, CDP, TCFD, SASB, SBTs, ERF.
- Knowledge of environmental impact assessments addressing relevant regulatory frameworks.
- International experience and second language.
- Based at or commute to the Brisbane CBD and undertake secondments or site visits as required on a project basis. Flexible working arrangements are negotiable.

**Formal Education**:

- Tertiary qualification as Life Sciences Technician, or Forest or Agronomic Scientist, or positive skill assessment outcome comparable to the education level of an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Diploma or higher.

**Work Experience**:

- 1 - 5 years in the industry.
- Combination of technical roles and operational and/or management roles.

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
