We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Manager to lead and coordinate the Age Care Act (ACA) program of work across multiple working groups and workstreams. As the Program Manager, you will provide critical administrative and reporting support to the Steering Committee to ensure compliance with the Aged Care Act by 1 July 2025.

You will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of preparation efforts, communication, planning, design, development, and implementation of the program, ensuring alignment with other strategic programs and key internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities- Leadership: Lead and coordinate various working groups, create clarity, make decisions, and motivate individuals to drive program success.- Task Structuring: Maintain high standards of ethical conduct, confidentiality, and integrity while managing tasks, planning activities, and setting priorities.- Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with stakeholders, build networks, and promote team achievements to ensure smooth program execution.- Support: Demonstrate empathy, provide encouragement, listen to concerns, and support individuals throughout the program's lifecycle.- Resilience: Handle stressful situations, resolve conflicts, stay calm under pressure, and maintain focus on program objectives.- Communication: Provide clear presentations, explain complex concepts, and project confidence when engaging with internal teams and stakeholders.- Success: Drive initiatives forward, use initiative to resolve challenges, and ensure energy and focus are directed toward achieving program goals.

Qualifications & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business or Project Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.- Proven experience in a Program Manager or similar role, delivering successful compliance or legislative initiatives within large organizations.- In-depth understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.- Strong background in project management, with experience managing complex programs from initiation to completion.- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with an ability to articulate ideas clearly and confidently.- Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to make informed decisions.- Strong business acumen, with a strategic approach to problem-solving.- Relevant certifications in project management, change management, or related fields are a plus.- Experience in a large-scale organization or consulting firm is highly desirable.- Exposure to aged care, healthcare, home care service delivery, or related industries is highly desirable.- Experience working with not-for-profits or charitable organizations is preferred.
