As Australia Post modernises to meet customer needs and expectations today and for tomorrow; the need for an enterprise approach to stakeholder engagement has never been more critical.

The Stakeholder Engagement Manager (12 Month Fixed Term Contract) is instrumental in executing an integrated, strategic stakeholder strategy. This role will also be responsible for helping manage robust governance framework, delivering influential messaging, and strengthening reputation. On a proactive footing, the role will help monitors and assesses emerging issues, and develop and implement strategies to mitigate reputational risk and enhance the brand reputation

**You’ll be responsible for**:

- Work collaboratively across the business to implement an integrated enterprise stakeholder engagement strategy to build advocacy for Australia Post
- Help manage an enterprise stakeholder engagement and governance framework and operating model that will drive stakeholder advocacy, including measurement, reporting and identifying potential risks and opportunities for Australia Post
- Develop and implement customer communication and engagement plans and development of materials including eDMs, external FAQs, digital content, internal FAQs, sales briefings, customer service scripts, comms for the Post Office Network and copy for internal communications. This requires working across the enterprise, often on project teams
- Develop and deliver face-to-face and virtual community engagement programs as well to inform, and influence community and business stakeholders
- Proactively develop and maintain strong internal relationships and collaborate and share knowledge to ensure an aligned and integrated approach to stakeholder engagement. Our internal engagement is as important as our external engagement as the role works with others in a highly matrixed organisation

**About you**

You are a communications and marketing specialist, who excels at managing large, customer centric programs and campaigns to improve brand strength and reputation. You enjoy collaborating and have strong influencing skills and can build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.. You’re eager to get stuff done, and approach your work with enthusiasm, diligence and a can-do attitude.

**What are we looking for?**
- Experience in a similar role within a large complex corporate and/or government environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- A track record in the management of stakeholder frameworks and systems
- Demonstrated understanding of political and regulatory environment
- Proven understanding of stakeholder and community engagement theory and practice
- Proven understanding of program management disciplines
- Proven ability to mediate across multi-functional or multi-discipline teams in order to achieve agreed objectives
