This particular role involves Child Care and Post Acute/Community Access and assisting grandmother caring for her 3 grandchildren.

CHILD CARE:

- Engaging children in activities as per their interests and parent requests
- Full supervision at all times, including visual and hearing.
- undertaking toileting tasks as required, as per hygiene policy in Employee Handbook
- Preparation of food and meals that are suitable for children
- Assistance with feeding and self-care activities
- Communicating effectively, provide feedback and take advice where required.
- Recording any incidents or accidents that may arise and reporting them to parents and the agency.

Community Access
Assistance with shopping and any medical appointments. Taking children to activities outside the home, including school.

To Be Successful:

- Must be COVID-19 Vaccinated - at least 3 doses
- Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Qualification or Previous Experience in Child Care, Aged Care, Disability or Community Supports
