**Brisbane Local Transport Team Member**

We are looking for a team member to join the Transport Division in our Hemmant Office in Brisbane. If you are looking for an environment where you can work with a small team that are passionate and positive, this is right for you.

Don Watson Transport is family owned and is one of Australia's leading refrigerated logistics companies offering a diverse range of transport and refrigerated storage solutions.

This is a permanent full-time position working from 2am Mondays and 4am Tuesday to Friday and every fourth Saturday.

**Main tasks include -**
- Assisting the Senior Allocator
- Organising pickups and local deliveries into runs
- Allocating local fleet and drivers
- Meeting timeslots to hit KPI’s
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed in a timely manner
- Ensure all paperwork for deliveries are complete
- Communicating to drivers and other divisions of the business
- Reporting KPI’s

**What we need is someone to demonstrate the following criteria -**
- Has worked in a similar role within the transport industry
- Strong knowledge of Brisbane Metropolitan region would be highly regarded
- Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently with mínimal supervision
- Willingness to learn new tasks
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills (Outlook, Excel & Word)
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Have confidence talking to people face to face
- Being highly self-motivated, reliable and enthusiastic
