Transport Allocator – Join Our Dynamic Team

An exciting opportunity exists for a self-motivated and experienced Transport Allocator to become a vital part of our growing team.

We are a 24/7 operation, and our shifts are based on a 4 on / 3 off roster, scheduled to best support the needs of the role and business operations.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a solid understanding of transport logistics, we want to hear from you.

4 days on / 3 days off

Shift options:

4:00 AM – 4:00 PM

4:00 PM – 4:00 AM

Sunday to Wednesday

Wednesday to Saturday

Accurate and timely tracking and data entry

Ensuring all driver paperwork is completed daily

Planning and scheduling local pickups and deliveries

Identifying and resolving operational issues as they arise

Making confident, informed decisions under pressure

Maintaining compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements

Clear and effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders

Promoting and supporting a safe and healthy work environment

Participating in safety initiatives and toolbox talks

Optimising load capacities for efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Leading by example – professional presentation and high standards

Monitoring and managing Reefer units

Qualifications & Requirements

Ability to work autonomously and within a team

Minimum 2 years' experience in an operations or supervisory role within the heavy vehicle industry

Ability to provide up-to-date, contactable references

Willingness to learn internal software systems

Capable of performing under pressure in a time-critical environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Current forklift licence will be very adventageos

Weekly pay cycle

No after-hours calls

Company-supplied uniforms

Genuine opportunity for growth within the business

Availability during peak periods (Christmas, Easter, and other major holidays) is essential – holiday blackout periods apply

Successful applicants must pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing

There is no public transport available to the worksite – reliable personal transport is required
