Mercedes-Benz Adelaide are seeking a professional, can-do Sales Manager to join our Certified Pre-Owned sales team.
You will manage the sales department by identifying objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short
- and long-term sales volume and revenue and to ensure consistent profitable growth for the franchise through positive planning and management of the sales team.
What will you be doing
- Establish short
- and long-term sales targets for sales team
- Ensure sales consultants follow the sales process in accordance with company procedures
- Actively prospect and monitor new business opportunities with sales team, new clients and existing clients
- Monitor market trends and advise the General Manager of changes in competition, product availability or related matters and provide suitable action plans
- Evaluate the performance of the sales team and provide regular feedback to sales consultants
- Regularly review monthly P&L accounts, vehicle stock levels and stock ageing levels and identify areas requiring attention
- Manage the accurate recording of sales and sales prospecting in the company prospecting system
- Ensure all advertising, sales promotion material and branch displays are in accordance with agreed programs
- Regularly review staff levels to ensure they are adequate to meet targets
- Ensure customer service matters are dealt with promptly and efficiently

Skills & Experience
- Strong leadership ability
- Demonstrated industry experience preferred, but not essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High standard of personal presentation
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Commercial acumen
- Negotiation and marketing skills
- Hold a current SA driver licence
- Sound IT skillset
