**About the Opportunity**:
Our **Co-Gen Plant** converts recycled materials into steam and electricity, supporting paper manufacturing while reducing landfill waste. As a **Fuel Preparation Operator**, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the plant by managing and feeding materials into the system and managing unloading of deliveries.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Operate Heavy Machinery**: Use an **8-tonne forklift with a grab attachment** and a **front-end loader** to manage stockpiles and load/unload materials onto conveyors and trucks.
- **Unload and Prepare Materials**: Safely unload bales and recycled fuel supplies from trucks and prepare them for processing.
- **Control and Maintain the Fuel Yard**: Ensure continuous fuel levels for boiler production and maintain a safe working environment.
- **Assist Operations**: Support shift fitters and maintenance teams when required to meet production goals.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- **Experience with 8-Tonne Forklift (Grab)** and **Front-End Loader** operations.
- Previous experience in a yard hand, production, or trades-related role is advantageous.
- A valid Forklift Licence and Front-End Loader competency certificate.
- Ability to work **rotating 12-hour shifts**: 2 days, 2 nights, followed by 4 days off, plus **2 paid weeks off at the end of a 7-week cycle. (**All additional shifts paid as OT)
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office knowledge preferred).
- A **confined space licence** is a bonus but not essential.
