**The Role**

We’re seeking an experienced and detail-driven **Accounts Payable Officer** to join a busy and supportive finance team based in Olympic Park. This is a **temp to perm** opportunity, ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, high-volume environment and brings a proactive mindset to daily operations.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of subcontractor claims and supplier invoices, while supporting wider finance functions and upholding strong internal and external relationships.

**Responsibilities**
- Full-function accounts payable processing for suppliers and subcontractors
- Daily management of shared inboxes, maintaining processing within 2 business days
- Assisting with weekly/monthly payment runs and reconciliations
- Maintaining the AP calendar and KPI tracking for performance reporting
- Supporting audit preparation and compliance reporting
- Managing supplier records and ensuring up-to-date vendor data
- Working closely with project teams to resolve invoice and payment queries
- Uploading and coding invoices into CHEOPS (or similar ERP)
- Ensuring compliance with SOPA legislation and payment terms

**You'll Need**
- Immediate start required
- 3+ years' experience in a similar AP role
- CHEOPS experience (highly regarded but not essential)
- Exposure to construction or project-based environments (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise competing deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and collaborative
- Must be an Australian resident or citizen
