We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and future-focused **Group Compliance Officer** to join our team. Reporting to the Group Manager - Governance, Risk and Compliance you will lead DRA Global ethics, business conduct and compliance activities.

**Key functions include**:

- Drive and facilitate a pragmatic and effective Group compliance program
- Communicate and implement a compliance management strategy and annual plan
- Enable Group compliance in areas (but not limited to): business conduct, anti-bribery, fraud and corruption, conflicts of interest, human rights and modern slavery, foreign market entry, privacy and data, and whistleblower protection
- Facilitate compliance risk management to assess, prioritise and manage compliance risks across the Group
- Lead the Group’s global third-party governance and risk management
- Facilitate compliance breach investigations (when required), maintaining and analysing Group breach data / registers
- Collaborate with and provide guidance to Group stakeholders on the implementation of compliance related functions and processes
- Promote a culture of compliance and ethical business conduct, working with various Group functions to coordinate training and awareness activities
- Deliver high-quality reports to the Board, Executive Committee and other governance or regulatory bodies as required
- Establish and oversee a system for the management of regulatory obligations and Group adherence
- Monitor, identify and communicate any legislative changes that will impact the Group, and as necessary recommending associated organisational change
- Oversee the governance of Group policies, standards and frameworks
- Support the integration of governance, risk and compliance, facilitating continuous improvement activities including change management processes (technical, behavioural/culture) and organisational change
- Carrying out all duties adhering to workplace safety and health obligations and evolving better practices.

**To be successful you will require**:

- Tertiary Degree in law, business, commerce or similar
- Memberships - Governance Institute Australia and/or Australian Institute of Company Directors or similar - Advantageous
- 5 years in a similar role, preferably with a multinational public listed company, or in a leading consulting firm
- Change management in a complex global environment
- Strong influencing, negotiation and communication skills to build positive internal working relationships and deliver outcomes
- Ability to work independently and prioritise varying demands from the function and handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of compliance, governance, risk, internal control, ASX requirements
