Job Expectations

Build your career and Australia’s future.

Not many people can say they are working on building Australia’s future. With us you’ll be doing just that, leaving a legacy for all Australians. Plus, there’s equal employment, great training, and true flexible working arrangements.

A bit about your role

The Performance Lead is a key member of our Partner Capability and Improvement team and is critical in the management of Delivery Partners and their conformance to contracted terms with regards to performance expectations under the On Demand Portfolio. They will work with internal stakeholders to ensure contractual KPIs are aligned to delivery and customer expectations and work to ensure these are fairly and accurately measured against each Delivery Partner. They will represent the nbn On Demand Delivery team on the regular National Steering Committee’s ran by the commercial team with each Delivery Partner monthly, reporting on overall performance across the portfolio. Additionally, the Performance Lead will be the key single interface for Health, Safety and Environment issues across the On Demand portfolio.

Through the review of performance and in collaboration with the Program teams, the Performance Lead will determine work allocation from a portfolio perspective to award high performance and mitigate any poor performance pressures across the programs. Through critical data analysis they will provide clear inputs to help senior leadership across nbn make informed strategic decisions on Delivery Partners. They will formulate clear performance management plans where Delivery Partners are not meeting expectations and ensure regular monitoring of adherence to these plans.

A bit about you

As the Performance Lead, you will have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, as well as experience and knowledge of commercial acumen and performance management of suppliers. You will develop and monitor adherence to performance improvement plans which sit aside from specific program performance drivers as well as determine work volume allocation at the On Demand Portfolio level, adjusting based on nbn strategic direction, performance challenges and desired program outcomes.

You will contribute to the development of implementation of key measures to desired performance outcomes and monitor via Monthly National Steering committees. As well as be the single point of contact for all HSE challenges across the On Demand Portfolio and oversee the relationship management of Delivery Partners, acting as the key voice of nbn into each from an On Demand Partnerships perspective.
