Our client is a highly regarded Australian law firm. They have an excellent reputation and are known for their positive work culture and progression opportunities. A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their high performing team out of their modern Gold Coast office. This is an exciting role as you will receive training and development across Commercial law and have the opportunity to grow your career in the Legal industry.

**Your new role**

Your new role will see you supporting a team of successful lawyers on a variety of matters. Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing administration and secretarial support to 3 Litigation lawyers
- File management on a cloud-based practice management legal system
- Preparing and amending legal documents and correspondence
- Staying up to date with certain client matters and updating clients along the way
- Liaising with external parties such as authorities and other legal practitioners
- Diary management
- End of month billing

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered you will demonstrate the following:

- A desire to grow your career as a Legal Secretary - not suitable for short term law students/junior lawyers
- At least 1 year of experience as a Legal Secretary or Paralegal (any area of law as they can train you but need the ground knowledge of working in a law firm)
- Experience in Commercial Litigation would be beneficial
- Experience with Leap would be highly regarded
- Impeccable communication skills
- Professional presentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
