**About the Role (Responsibilities)**:
Many clients are coming to us seeking support with organisational change to help them respond to digital driven change. We are expanding our ANZ Organisational Change Management practice and capability to meet this emerging need. In Cognizant we have a strong Global OCM Community, with large practices in Europe and the America, so this is an exciting time for ANZ.
Our OCM Managers work on engagements that typically between 8 weeks and 6 months. We deliver OCM across projects which deliver Cognizant’s array of solutions to clients - whether this be an SAP or Salesforce implementation, the introduction of managed services, an uplift in business agility or a unique piece of work to help a client achieve a specific outcome. You will be part of the project team where you may either run the OCM workstream or be a valued member of one.
A Manager in OCM is responsible for:
- Providing and demonstrating a consulting skillset and mindset
- Delivering the full suite of OCM services on client initiatives
- Designing and delivering high-quality client deliverables, on time and on budget
- Communicating with key client stakeholders and Cognizant leaders with strong written and oral skills focusing on OCM value, services, scope, requirements, actions
- Participation and facilitation of workshops to address client needs
- Project planning and estimation - either for projects or as part of bid teams for RFPs or proposals
- Representation of OCM in Client RFP or Proposal work - working as part of the team
- Proactively building the Cognizant organisation’s understanding of OCM services, value to client with a view to building OCM capability and pipeline
- Producing quality, succinct presentation documents
- Proactively supporting the Head of OCM and contributing to the OCM practice in areas of practice development and integration of OCM into Cognizant ways of working (RFPs, Bids)
**About you (skills / experience)**:
Life as an OCM consultant involves exciting, fast-paced work, dealing with a variety of stakeholders, clients and consultants. You are someone who is passionate about organizational change and its value to organisations, can comfortably manage ambiguity and lead others through it, have pride in quality and delivering great client outcomes, and be a self-starter who can manage accountabilities and time effectively.
We seek someone with expertise in OCM, with a consulting background, who delivers great quality work that is genuinely focused on client outcomes, who has ‘done the hard yards’ so can consult on change with credibility that is based on experience.
In the OCM team we value positive humans who enjoy bringing their individual perspectives into the mix of the team, collaborate well with teams and basically love helping clients to make change. To thrive, you will want to be confident and experienced in mobilizing and managing change initiatives or change workstreams within initiatives, delivering the full suite of OCM deliverables, present to internal and client stakeholders, being part of cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams, and have strong ‘negotiating for outcomes’ skills, and are able to successfully work on a variety of fast-paced engagements.
Your past experience will include:
- Consulting experience - preferably in a Top 4 or boutique consulting firm focused on OCM/ people
- A minimum of 6 years’ experience as an OCM practitioner
- A sound understanding of business process, communication and learning principles
- Experience delivering change management in a project environment
- Project management experience on projects - scoping, planning, forecasting, estimation, risk and issue management
- Experience structuring and running workshops to land decisions. Experience with online facilitation tools (e.g. Miro, Mural) would be beneficial.
- Strong presentation skills, including preparing succinct, good-looking documents or artefacts to aid communication or managerial decisions.
