**Salon Receptionist**

**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor, providing exceptional customer service from arrival to departure.
- Manage a 'walk-in' wait list & salon appointments.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding treatments, pricing, and availability.
- Maintain a tidy and organised reception area, always ensuring cleanliness and professionalism.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit/debit transactions, and issuing receipts.
- Assist therapists and technicians with guest needs, including treatment information and homecare.
- Manage inventory of retail products, including restocking shelves and assisting guests with product recommendations.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and updating guest records in salon software.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in a customer service or receptionist role, preferably within the hair & beauty industry.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using salon management software and basic computer skills.

**How to Apply**:
**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 38 per week
