Fronditha Care is a not-for-profit organisation providing unique, culturally and linguistically diverse services, offering residential and support services to elderly people of Greek and English speaking background in Victoria. Fronditha Care aim to ensure the elderly are able to remain at home and be supported by those who share their language, history, religious values, attitudes, rituals, celebrations, music and food for as long as possible.
- Casual/Part Time and Full Time roles available. Sponsorship also available. Multiple regions in Victoria available. Work close to home and be reimbursed for your travel. Lots of hours available for the right people. _

**The main responsibilities will be, but not limited to**:

- Providing personal care to our elderly
- Assisting with activities of daily living
- Mobility assistance
- Assistance with eating and drinking
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date records
- Observing the conditions of our elderly and reporting any concerns
- Encourage care recipients to make their own decisions
- Respite Care - companionship and conversation

**Personal Care Assistants working within our Community Services division will additionally assume the below duties**:

- Assisting with cleaning, laundering, ironing and other light duties in a household setting within our Community Service division.
- Transportation to and from medical appointments or assistance with shopping if work is undertaken within Community Services.
- Meal preparation and planning in a home setting environment. Personal Care workers working in the Community and our Domestic Assistants have the unique ability to choose their own hours of work.

**Requirements**:
**The successful applicant/s will have the following**:

- A Certificate III in Individual Support (minimum qualification or equivalent)
- Must have own transportation.
- Minimum 2* doses of COVID vaccine
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar field.
- Previous experience in providing personal care services in an Aged Care Facility or in Home & Community Care
- A team-oriented attitude, empathy and problem solving skills
- Commitment to deliver quality care to our elderly
- ABILITY TO SPEAK GREEK IS HIGHLY REGARDED
