**About the Role**

We are looking for an Infrastructure Lead to report into the Head of IT, to assist in maturing and maintaining the internal IT Infrastructure. This will be an

Other key responsibilities:

- Working with various vendors, both onsite and virtually, to support and manage the network environment. This includes patching, switches and network availability.
- Supporting various Help Desk escalated calls and mentoring the junior team members.
- Leading relevant projects and support with upkeep and development of the team and the businesses technical maturity.
- Support with ensuring the network security is monitored, maintained and any issues are escalated or solved.
- Rolling out new desktop technology which includes PCs, laptops, mobile phones, desk IP phones and related equipment.

**About You**

To compliment this, you will bring:

- Relevant tertiary education, or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through practical experience.
- Previous work and understanding of the Essential 8 model and how things can be implemented internally.
- Experience working with servers and networking equipment. HP, Cisco, Fortinet, Dell (compute and storage).
- Experience in cloud technologies, AWS, Azure and Office 365.
- Ability to diagnose and solve technical issues where appropriate, or ability to escalate when necessary.
- Strong ability to communicate and problem solve, to ensure success in both customer satisfaction and company principles.
- Qualifications in Microsoft, Office 365 cloud and VMWare preferred.
